Hey folks,
So it has been awhile since I have posted but I wanted to update everyone about our signature drive and give you a quick way to help out.
We have been collecting signatures every week and weekend since June 1st. Over 5,000 signatures are in the bank and more are on the way. The campaign has a dedicated team of summer interns, some of which are here every day, and they are doing the majority of the heavy lifting. At the same time, dozens of volunteers show up every Saturday and go out and do the work to get Mayor Gavin Newsom back on the ballot.
Now, you can help as well from the comfort of your own home. Below are two links to our signature forms in PDF format. A valid signature sheet has to be printed on BOTH sides of one piece of paper (two sided print job). Please note that if the sheet isn’t printed correctly, it won’t be valid.
If you are a supporter of Mayor Newsom, you can print out the signature sheet, sign your signature and mail it to the campaign directly. We are located at 1320 Sutter St in San Francisco, 94109. Any registered voter can sign the sheet so if you have relatives, neighbors, or friends in the city who are Newsom supporters, please have them sign as well.
This signature drive is not only important to knock out the filing fee but more so, it’s about showing the city the kind of support that we have on the campaign. Please take a moment to help us out and if you want to volunteer, we meet on Saturdays at 10:30 AM at the campaign HQ.
