Jennifer Cortez is a lifelong San Franciscan, living in the Sunset. She has been working the phones at Newsom’07 Headquarters pretty much non-stop, helping put together our very popular MeetLocally events all over the city. Jenn and our other volunteer’s efforts are really what make this campaign go. If you’d like to volunteer, you can sign up here. We’re always looking to get more San Franciscans involved.

Kelly Wilkinson from Russian Hill is one of our top volunteers. You can find her at Newsom’07 headquarters pretty much any day of the week, helping put together and put on our MeetLocally’s.
Kelly is also a big fan and contributor to ActLocallySF.org. She just started her first blog, aptly titled "Bloggin from Russian Hill". She’s always leaving comments and suggestions for how to make this great city even better. Look for Kelly online and in person if you stop by the HQ.

Charlie Hahn is a key member of the Newsom ‘07 team, helping us reach out to the city’s Korean community. You can usually find him working the phones at the campaign headquarters in a variety of languages, putting together our ever popular MeetLocally events. But, Charlie’s willing to do whatever is asked of him and we are happy to have him on board.

Cliff Waldeck was one of our first volunteers to sign up as a blogger. Cliff’s blog reflects his passion for green business development and utilization here in San Francisco. So far, Cliff’s blog has the most postings of all our bloggers.
Cliff’s a busy guy, running his business, serving on the SF Bay Regional Water Board, Bay Conservation and Development Commission and he also Chairs the Bay Area Regional Airport Planning Committee.
Cliff, good to have you on board. Keep the blogs coming!

Caretha Russell is one of our new campaign volunteers. She decided to volunteer after checking out ActLocallySF.org. Very cool. This is Caretha’s first time working on a campaign, she helps to put together our MeetLocally’s and also has lots of good questions for Mayor Newsom. Caretha is a native San Franciscan, currently living in the Civic Center area. If you want to join Caretha on the campaign - you can sign up here.

Jonathan Lyens is one of our new super volunteers. He is blind, but that doesn’t stop him from helping put together our MeetLocally events. His dog Turbo is more of a sleeper, but is another welcome addition to the Newsom for Mayor crew. I’m also going to set him up with an Act Locally SF blog next week. So, look for his posts. Jonathan is still in school finishing up his Masters in Public Administration.

Anabel Simonelli, formerly from Brazil now living in the Richmond is one of our best volunteers. Anabel is always willing to help out, no matter what the task is around the office. This past weekend she took flawless notes at our second of 100 MeetLocally events and she did it all with a smile.

Hope Johnson and Lisa Fineberg are two of our top volunteers, always one step ahead of what the campaign needs, always professional, and always there with a smile. You name it, and Hope and Lisa can do it: researching, organizing the office, helping with events. We’re glad they’re on the team!
