What’s with selective enforcement?

What does it take to get the cops to enforce the law?  While cops are busy ticketing bicycles (but not cars) who roll through intersections in the Lower Haight, two major nuicances plague the city, due to cops not enforcing the laws: Cars in the transit-only lanes, really loud motorcycles. Have you ever been on the bus on Market and you had to wait for two or even three signal cycles because the bus couldn't get to the island?  Usually it's because of car drivers who think that the "BUS ONLY" signs don't apply to them.  Looking to cheat the line, Read This Posty »
