I am a North Beach resident. Over the past few years, the neighborhood (particularly Grant Street) has gotten progressively dirtier, and garbage pick up seems either insufficient or erratic. Also, the quality of Broadway continues to deteriorate, with more garbage, more strip clubs and related sex shops and fewer other business establishments to balance to mix. As a result, Broadway feels both unsafe and unsavory in the evening.
