I live in the lower Haight and am appalled by the amount of graffiti on storefronts and residential buildings. As soon as it’s painted over, it seems to appear again and in even larger amounts. I’ve heard graffiti is a difficult crime to prosecute, but still it is unacceptable. I’d like to see more police patrols on Haight in the late evening/early morning hours to deter this eyesore on our community.
