My pet peeve: Cars making right turns on red onto Franklin St. (where I live). Many drivers simply pull into the crosswalk without looking to see if anyone is there, in order to look left down Franklin–both I and my partner have both almost been hit, and he saw a woman hit in the crosswalk. Given the volume of traffic on Franklin during rush hours, the ability to MAKE a right turn on red is pretty much nil then. I would recommend banning right turns on red on intersections with Franklin, at least during rush hours.
Thanks!
