MY PET PEEVE IS VARIOUS ENTITIES TEARING UP THE STREETS TO SUPPOSEDLY MAKE IMPROVEMENTS (IE PUTTING IN WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE RAMPS ON STREET CORNERS) AND A COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER DOING THE SO CALLED IMPROVEMENT, COMING BACK TEARING THEM UP AND DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS ALONG LINCOLN WAY IN THE SUNSET.

I couldn’t agree with you more John. Not only is Lincoln in a contstant state of construction, but the avenues are also in that state. Last year 10th Ave was repaved. Then in June it was torn apart and repaved again and AGAIN! 2 times in about a week and a half. The first time it looked absolutely terrible afterward so I suspect it was done incorrectly and had to be done again. This morning 11th Ave seems to be starting the same process. Also noticed that the sidewalk end on Lincoln and 10th Ave was torn apart and is being relaid with concrete again today. Those were just done in the last 6 months or less! What gives? This stinks of a HUGE waste of taxpayer money. What is going on Mr. Mayor?
