Dear Mayor, The condition of our city streets is a disgrace to this great city. Resurfacing of many streets is long over due and badly needed. I drive down Bush each Am to work the potholes and irregular surface are unacceptable. I recently visited my home town Pgh Penna a city with significant economic hardship in recent years. The infrastructure of the city is well maintained. My wife is from Hamburg Germany and you cannot even begin to compare the well kept streets and absence of graffiti and clean public spaces to SF. What a shame to have let this city deteriorate to it’s present state of disrepair. Please make it a priority of you next years in office.
Sincerely,
Gary

This issue is one of my biggest pet peeves too. I think everybody can agree that there is no excuse for the deplorable conditions of our street surfaces here in SF. I have been riding my bicycle to work down Stockton Street going towards Market Street for the last 10 years, and it it constantly being torn up and not properly being resurfaced after underground work is completed. If fact, these last few months, the sSteet conditions on Stockton Street near Macy’s have been the most dangerous I have ever seen for bikers.
