One more for the record books if you truly track these at all. Can you do something about the pedestrians in this city. I read articles and see constant reporting about how pedestrians put their lives at risk crossing our city streets. I drive and walk in this city everyday. I see people jaywalking, walking in the middle the street, standing in intersections on green lights or sauntering as if they are strolling in the park on a Sunday against the traffic. Some even stop in intersections with rushing on-coming cars daring them to hit them saying "I’m walking here". This kind of behavior results in pedestrian fatalities but you never hear anything about pedestrians at fault —the result of "stupid and intentional acts or bad behavior. Since this is a city where "anything goes" it figures we don’t have to practice what any school kid learns at the street crossing: look both ways and cross quickly kid the car is bigger than you. Instead we pin the blame on drivers forced to navigate around or nearly miss pedestrians launching themselves off curves without looking assuming it’s their God given right to walk wherever, however, and whenever they please. Civilization has rules so that it continues to function to some degree of normal but here — in the anything goes capital of the world — everyone gets confused when self entitlement and in your face actions result in accidents easily avoided except in our current state of anarchy.
