It's obvious that Gavin and the SFPD doesn't care about this. I've started an effort to call the SFPD non emergency every night when I see a homeless encampment out in front of my apartment. And then when they don't show up, I call again in half an hour. If more people did this, maybe they'd get the message and start doing their job instead of hanging out at Starbucks all day. They'll give you attitude and a line about how it's not a life and death emergency. or straight out lie to you about how they do tell them to move along and they just come back. DON'T BELIEVE THEM. Don't take their excuses. KEEP CALLING. We need to let city government and the police department know that we deserve to live in a safe, clean city. The only way to do this is nagging. Apparently if we don't police the police, they don't do their job. No one is being held accountable.
