I sent in a pet peeve awhile back, and realized afterward that I referred to the wrong streets.. *blush* I’m really disturbed by the amount of jaywalking and reckless driving on my way home from work, especially around the area of the United Nations Plaza, McAllister/Hyde/8th Street etc. In my earlier message, I proposed building a pedestrian overpass. I’m not sure if that’s the best solution, but I wish something could be done about the hair-raising activity there. Between the crazy drivers and the pedestrians that seem to think of the crosswalk and traffic lights as a sort of suggestion, my heart is often in my throat! Very stressful.
