It seems that everywhere - and I mean everywhere - is defaced by graffiti. It’s absolutely terrible and it also seems as if nothing is being done about it. I live in the Sunset, and everywhere you look, you see defacement and vandalism by these people who think any surface is their tablet! I ride MUNI every day, and very rarely am I on a bus or street car that doesn’t have some kind of graffiti vandalism.

Much of the graffiti on Irving has been cleaned up. Thanks to Mayor Newsom for the Ambassador.
However, I live near Noriega, and that street is a long graffiti pit. A few businesses keep their storefronts clean, but the majority of blocks are just graffiti wastelands. Even the windows are etched with some kind of acid.
I personally won’t shop at a business that doesn’t at least make an attempt to clean up graffiti. Hear that, Noriega merchants? Here that, Carmen Chu?
