Hello, I recently moved to the bay area from the central valley 3 months ago and my god this ( bay area ) is quite a culture shock- I am only from a hundred miles south-I witness anything I could possibly think of murder, dope dealing, drug usage, prostitution, threats, pedestrian hit and runs, homeless cancer patients, teens living on the streets, people rushing. But my main concern is with the city’s homelessness… and how it affects the city’s reputation which is not to mention by the way is declining. Most of the time their homeless situation is drug related. And quite frankly, it is a hassle to share the city with them. They panhandle, solicit, cuss out passer byers, spit, puke, and defecate on the streets…I mean and people just walk by like its okay. What is this world coming to. Something needs to be done. The city sanitation is suffering greatly not to mention the heavy tourism during the summer that ads to the situation. The city has no structure. I am willing to participate in building the city’s standards however, I don’t know where to begin.
