I think the mayor needs to focus his energies on resolving the horrible and out of control situation that San Franciscans are forced to deal with on their streets on a daily basis, the aggressive panhandling, the defecation and urination, and the filthy conditions of our streets and sidewalks. Other cities have resolved these problems and, until our streets and sidewalks are once again livable, these problems need to be his number one concern.
People are tired of hearing of excuses, we are tired of being embarrassed when our friends and family come to visit and ask why we allow such aberrant behavior to go on in our city streets. How many ways must people say that this is an intolerable situation before city officials start getting the word?

I can appreciate your feelings. It seems to me though, living in District 6, where beligerant sociopaths and psychopaths lay around sleeping and then defecating in doorways, that it’s up to Chris Daley to actually come up with ideas, programs and processes to keep the streets free of socio and psycho paths. Chris Daley is the one to take action on these issues and work with the Mayor, not against him.
