I have been living at 540 Jones for 2 yrs.. The Shalimar restaurant and they use mequit charcoal to cook their food. The smoke makes it hard to breath. Next door at the Nile cafe, they use mesquite to lite their hookah’s to smoke their tobacco.We have a hard time breathing their smoke too. The fire marshal and police have been notified and nobody does anything. I suppose we don’t matter. The police said they don’t see the fire pit at the Nie cafe, so I guess it doesn’t exist..PLEASE HELP BEFORE WE ARE DEAD FROM SMOKE INHALATION.
