I live near the intersection of 19th on Dolores street and my peeve is the people who think it is a freeway from the light at 20th to the light at 18th. We NEED a stop sign on the corner of 19th. People speed down this street everyday. This is the center entrance to the park on the east side and tons of pedestrians with dogs and many with children cross here every day and night. Please take a ride up Castro St between 19th and 22nd. We put up with the metal covers over diggings for weeks.  Now the metal plates are gone but the fill put into the holes by PG&E or the Water Dept or SOMEBODY is totally unacceptable.  The street is like a washboard and it makes the #24 Busride AWFUL!!!!  This is just one example of bad road patching that is all over the city.  The people who dig up the streets should be required to leave them in good condition.
