Take action to clean up the Hunters Point site and build the new stadium already!! The China Basin area south of AT&T Park makes a good Plan B if necessary. Bottom line: We can't lose our beloved Niners!!!

Has anybody done a thorough review of whether or not they benefit our local economy or if, in fact, they are a drain on local business. I propose we let them leave. Let's create instead an inter-urban league of sports teams - our city boosters cannot argue that a truly local sports team would not benefit the image of the city and capture the intangible benefits of having a local team. We shouldn't bend over backward to keep a sport cartel satiated and glutted on public tax benefits.

Mayor:
I am not an advocate for what you call marriage equality (gay marriage). I am not an advocate of the Bay to Breakers Race on Sunday mornings blocking traffic. Please consider having it on Saturdays instead. I am not an advocate for the uncontrollable Halloween Party in the Castro District. I am not an advocate of the Critical Mass (bicyclist) blocking traffic the last Friday of each month.
I do however appreciate what you are attempting to do with your other projects of establishing WiFi in the city, Universal Health Care, Getting Muni on time, Services to the Bayview and Hunter's

My pet peeve is the fact that the city has not gotten a handle on the 49ers situation. From what I've seen and heard, the stadium is in horrible shape, and is in dire need of repair. Now I don't know the specifics, but the 49ers are a vital part of our community. Are you going to allow them to move to Santa Clara? That would be the first team in sports history to move into a small community. They are asking for help and we are not giving it to them. And that goes for everything in Bayview. Have

There are just some parts of the city that seem to dangerous and/or dirty and grimey to walk down at night-and heck sometimes the day-because of all the homeless and weird/dangerous looking people....and if I may say so, above all else, please, please, PLEASE do everything you all can to keep the 49ers HERE!!! They are OUR team, NOT Santa Clara's, the history is too vast and too great to loose our team like that.
