I think we need to fix up and clean-up China Town before some of those beautiful filthy old buildings fall apart.
Also just moved back to San Francisco (South Beach) after 16 years living abroad (Europe), I love the improvements to my home San Francisco but those Traffic Helicopters in the early morning hours are loud and unnecessary - with all the film experts in the city - just install wireless cameras along the bay bridge to report problems (maybe they are already there?). And if possible only allow helicopters to hover if the breaking news is life threatening (last

The island used to be a pleasant place to live, now it's turning into a crime ridden, corruptly managed, and unsafe place to live. The redevelopment plans being put in motion are not environmentally friendly or even close to environmentally sound. They treat us like second-class citizens and make us sign away all of our rights. They have evicted lots of people and inconvenienced a lot more. The Island is now owned by the city but I get the feeling that they have a total disregard for the needs of the people who inhabit it. Crossing over the line is illegal and highly fined so the “Last minute Duck into the other Lane” Driver would learn an expensive lesson about manners. It might actually cut down the traffic waiting for the Bridge since the traffic to the Central won’t be added to the congestion.
In southern CA the double

My biggest pet peeve by far is traffic/MUNI. I group them together because they are so intertwined, falling under a more general heading of 'Getting from point A to point B.'
When I drive to the East Bay or down the peninsula I must add to (or double) my commute time to account for how long I will sit in traffic, stopped or barely moving. Add it up by how many people do this, and how frequently, and it's a considerable waste of fuel, time, and productivity. Day after day after day. Coming home to the City over the Bay Bridge
