Too many drivers think they don't have to stop at crosswalks. If it's a crosswalk with no light or stop sign, maybe 1 in 10 drivers stops for a pedestrian. Maybe one of those mid-road pedestrian signs should be put at every crosswalk that's not at a light or stop sign.

My pet peeve: Cars making right turns on red onto Franklin St. (where I live). Many drivers simply pull into the crosswalk without looking to see if anyone is there, in order to look left down Franklin--both I and my partner have both almost been hit, and he saw a woman hit in the crosswalk. Given the volume of traffic on Franklin during rush hours, the ability to MAKE a right turn on red is pretty much nil then. I would recommend banning right turns on red on intersections with Franklin, at least during rush hours.
Thanks!

I work in the bayview and right now my pet peeve is all the money that has been wasted on this beautification thingie. Unfortunately the people down here do not appreciate it. A lot of the "beautiful" things those dollars went to were destroyed long before the lightrail even began running. The money would have been better spent by keeping the design basic, and simple. AND paying people who care the responsibility to keep it clean and taken care of.
Also what's with all this beeping at the crosswalks? It is annoying. And when you're actually crossing with a signal
