I live near the intersection of 19th on Dolores street and my peeve is the people who think it is a freeway from the light at 20th to the light at 18th. We NEED a stop sign on the corner of 19th. People speed down this street everyday. This is the center entrance to the park on the east side and tons of pedestrians with dogs and many with children cross here every day and night. I have lived in this building for over seven years and am surprised how few citations I have seen given. Every once in a

1. I am a native San Franciscan. As a child I remember going down Geary Street and all the signal lights were synchronized. You never had to stop for a light. I am wondering why this cannot still happen.
2. I live at 23rd and Dolores. It seems like for the last THREE YEARS our streets have been torn up. One project no sooner finishes and another one starts up. We have had cable and then telephone and most recently water and I just got a notice of sewer work for 4 to 5 weeks and then I know that PGE is

Why is it that the SFPD sets up "traps" on streets like Dolores Street to trap you with a ticket that is complete BS but are never there when you really need them in day to day life in SF for petty crime like packages stolen from my doorstep when I'm at work and when neighbors were held up at gunpoint in the middle of a super safe area of the city?

Dear Mayor Newsom,
I have several 'peeves' regarding traffic flow, signal light timing, and traffic control from the Potrero and Mission districts.
1. About 15 years ago, (due to a city supervisor who apparently resided on or near 23rd St. between Church and Dolores), that block was suddenly closed to uphill traffic and became "one way" down-hill. Consequently, the East-West routes between the Mission and Noe Valley or Castro districts became severely limited to 24th St. or 18th Street only, as no other streets in between these two thoroughfares pass directly through the neighborhoods. This is very inconvenient, and I wonder if

I have lived at the corner of 18th Street and Dolores for almost 9 years. I have three children, and we love having Dolores Park so close by. These days there are approximately 10,000 people in Dolores Park every weekend. On weekends where there are special events, like Opera performances, Symphony performances, Mime Troop shows, that number can double or triple. I love all the activity in the park! BUT! There is not now, nor has there ever been, a pedestrian crossing signal at the corner of 18th and Dolores. We thought it would be installed as part of the
