I live on Fell St. in between Scott and Divisadero -- a virtual freeway, but with no street trees to soak up the exhaust.  I've contacted the appropriate city official to request a tree planting but received no response.  This street (and the residents who live on it) desperately needs more trees!  Sincerely, Choaking in fumes Read This Posty »

I walk to work every morning from Fell and Market to Bush and Sansome.  Every day I pass at least 2 drug deals.  There are two police officers who are stationed at 6th and Market who do absolutely nothing about this.  They just stand there.  Today I told them that I just passed three drug deals on the previous block.  One looked at me and told me to watch my step around the drug dealers that were ahead of me!  It's so frustrating that  the police turn a blind eye to this.  Would it kill you to actually walk around Read This Posty »

For numerous years now (5+), some major roads like Bush and Pine have been haphazardly repaired for potholes or had small repavings after street work.  Is there any priority to make these much used commute routes nicely paved.  Parts of Fell and Oak were done and it sure makes a difference.  David, SF Resident Read This Posty »

I live on Octavia street and Fell. I pay $60 a year for the S sign for street parking. While other cars just park on the residents side of the street without a sticker for the whole day. No meter maids come by, and I have see them sleep in the meter cars. Name Withheld Read This Posty »

No Parking on Oak Street's left side between 7-9AM needs to be rescinded. I think that parking in the city is a much worse problem than traffic. They rescinded the parking law on Fell and it works just fine, why not Oak St? Driving around the neighborhood for over an hour some nights looking for parking is only fun for so long... Nice site. Without a doubt the disastrous state of the roads in the city. I’ve been to third world countries where the roads are in better shape. Its getting to the point where pot holes or so extensive that sooner or later your car will get damaged and if you are riding a back you will fall down and get hurt. Fell St is supposed to be one of the main arteries in the city and connects to the Octavia exit off the highway..but it’s a perfect example of how bad the roads are.
