I have been using public transportation in SF for a long time. Bus drivers! I noticed in recent years, most of them are downright mean and hostile. If riding a bus is not such a terrible experience and also run on something resembling a schedule, I'm sure more people would use public transportation, thus lessening the traffic problems and pollution. I really think this is achievable here in a beautiful city like SF. I know drivers have to deal with adersities but who doesn't? Sometimes, 3 buses all come at the same time, some of them speeding at a break

It is far from solved. I work in the Financial District and every other corner has a homeless person or beggar. This is ridiculous. How can you promote business and tourism if there are homeless sleeping and begging in front of the former Pacific Stock Exchange. I will not vote for you until you follow through. Why don't you walk through the district any morning. You'll see what I mean.

As a 30-something, single, about to be married, professional who lives in Potrero Hill and works in the Financial District my Pet Peeve is that this part of the City does not appear to be safe enough for me to feel comfortable raising children in my neighborhood.

The double-parked trucks that park throughout the downtown and financial area every morning are a hassle and safety hazard. It is very frustrating trying to navigate through the streets with so many trucks strewn all over the place. Seeing the bad habit of these trucks, cars have started picking up on it, too, and it is all to frequent to see random cars double-parked throughout the streets.
Why aren't all of these people (commercial or otherwise) ticketed?

Lately, I've been practically overrun by the Critical Mass people every time they ride thru the Financial District. I see myself, fellow (walking) commuters, and tourists stranded on street corners or getting yelled at and harassed in the midst of the bike riding mayhem. I think it's great CM exists and brings attention to bicyclists, but how are pedestrians supposed to WALK? Just because these CM folks are on bikes doesn't mean they have a license to be complete asses and a danger to those walking!
Also, I'm really, really tired of the inefficiency that is BART. Perpetually dirty stations, late

I live and work near the SF Financial District and walk to work daily. I have noticed, that unlike any of large cities on the East Coast, SF allows right turns on red lights at virtually every light. Due to this, I almost get run over at least twice a day as cars turn on red, often looking to their left as they speed through the red light while dodging pedestrians in the crosswalk. It is especially dangerous on any street that leads to the Bay Bridge. Since San Francisco does not have many traffic police (I rarely see any)
