My mother tripped and fell due to uneven sidewalk on Geary Blvd. She ended up severely bruising her face. When I took her to the emergency room at CPMC, the attending physician said he sees accidents like this DAILY because of the poorly maintained sidewalks. I'm a jogger and I'm constantly on the look out for uneven sidewalks. I've seen uneven sidewalks painted a bright orange to highlight the hazard but that is it. When is the city going to fix this?

Illegal Immigration is out of control -- ruining our American culture, economy, and healthcare system for starters. In a time where we need the government's help to protect us from these criminals taking advantage of our hospitals, our schools, and our legal system, our mayor announces he wants to give sanctuary! What kind of upside-down city do I live in? Just take a look at this website - in 5 languages! Pander to those who refuse to speak the language of this great nation because you might pick up a vote or two along the way...Ridiculous.

Last year upon returning to my home in Eureka Valley from visiting my mother in the Sunset District, I boarded an inbound streetcar and fell; the stairs were not raised to the platform level. Not only did the driver not come to my aid, when I approached him and asked for his name, he refused to give it to me. I went to the emergency hospital and thereafter I leaned that I had fractured my foot. I filed a claim with the City, and was treated with the most most utmost disrespect from the City Attorney's office who called my

I am a family physician providing primary care to multigenerational families. Recently I found out that a patient of mine had passed away at the hospital some months beforehand, following an accident. I was not notified by the hospital or the coroner's office about the tragedy, and wish I could have offered timely support to the family members. I wish primary doctors would be notified automatically in case of any reported death.

A few things:
The problem with San Francisco and this is noticeable all across the country is health care. Most hospitals are owned by private investors and banks out of New York. I have seen many family's that are unable to pay for health care even when they can afford health care the premiums are sometimes so outrageous they can not afford it. With gas prices reaching almost $4.00 a gallon and a dishonest and incompetent president that has spent trillions of dollars to make his friends and oil company's that contributed to his campaign billions of dollars in profit per

Why are area hospitals not allowed to have helipads for emergencies? How can SF have top rate trauma centers with them?
