You know and I know this a back door way of raising TAXES of the citizens of SF. The so called large grocery stores will simply pass this TAX onto the consumer.
This is stupid and underhanded...typical bleeding heart liberal.

First they built more classrooms in temporary buildings (increasing the numbers using the decreased yard. Then they put in a large storage container (more space for exercise taken). All the while, the administration uses the same yard as a personal parking area...Wonder why there are fewer children in SF?

I live on Treasure Island. There is a playground between Sturgeon and Striped Bass Street. The children have burned the slide. I told the Fire Department about it. The children seen me talking to the Fire Department. The children knocked my windows out. My neighbor named Rochelle Ransom children knocked my windows out. I reported the incident to Catholic Charities, and the Housing Authority and nothing was done about it. The Mayor needs to come and see this slide. If he got upset about the slide that was burned in the Sunnydale projects, I am quite sure that he will

I live on Treasure Island, and I noticed in the newspaper that the Mayor was upset about the playground equipment being burned twice at the Sunnydale housing projects. Well the same thing happened to the playground out here. And Catholic Charities has done nothing about it. I contacted the Fire Department about it and the children seen me talking to them and the terrorized me for over 4 months. They knocked out my windows, put a pyrotechnic device on my porch and lit it, and tried to assault me with sticks and rocks. I would like the Mayor to get

I am a single (working) mom with a 5 yo boy and a 10 month old baby boy. I am trying to continue to raise my kids here in San Francisco. It is difficult because I feel there are not enough activities for kids, and we need more organized sports!! Things like T-ball, soccer, football, basketball, etc. Where are these programs? Do I have to move to the East Bay to find youth sports and youth activities? I know when you live in a city with more dogs than kids, I am likely to face a challenge, but I am

It is my opinion that the onerous building and planning codes in San Francisco are a significant factor contributing to the number of families who are leaving SF. We are dual income professionals who have a 2 year old with a 2nd child due in December. We love SF and would like to be able to stay in the city. We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase a small home in Bernal Heights about 3 years ago. With a 2nd child on the way, we are looking at expansion options for our 100 year old and 1,000 square
