I am very disappointed with the hiring freeze.  I have been unemployed and have been trying to get a job as a junior engineer with the city.  I just interviewed with the MTA 2 weeks ago and was anxiously waiting for a reply from them.  Now, the position might not even be open anymore because you people screwed everything up.  Thanks a lot. Our locals twu local 200/250a suppported you in your last election and now you are hanging us out to dry.  shame on you.  we need our new contract with all the perks that we asked for.  the mta would like to nickel and dime us to death.  you have not once come to our aid.  meanwhile mr and yourself are getting raises and he is hiring like there no tomarrow.  a general is only as good as his troops.  you keep hiring at the top and do not want to take care of the rank and file.  all we here Read This Posty »
