Gavin Newsom failed to keep his promise to reduce the number of murders in the city and he should resign. Too many police motorcycle officers are assigned to escort dignitaries instead of being on the streets enforcing traffic laws and catching criminals. Does any other Bay Area city use 25 officers to escort people in their jurisdiction? This is police union featherbedding! Why won't the city attack the drug suppliers? The city has a vice squad but there is an increase in crime and murder/assalts /robberies...I have read a hundred times how the district attorney doesn't prosecute the criminals and they go in and go out since Hallihan. enough.
