If they are going to throw papers on the city streets each week, why can't they pay to have some one come back and pick them up after a day or two. Have them do like the people who deliver menu's, attached them to you door. Or better yet have them create a database of people who want the paper and then only deliver to them. I am sick of picking them up in front of my house, my neighbors house and seeing them just seat for days after days on my block. Then

There is no apparent way to stop free delivery of the Examiner to my door step. I find this wasteful.

I would like a way to opt out of receiving "free" newspapers such as the Examiner. I rarely read this paper and spend time taking it out of its plastic wrapper and putting it in my recycle bin. My neighbor across the street allows them to accumulate (he never picks them up and it looks as if he is not at home.) Another neighbor that actually picks up their paper did not arrange for anyone to pickup their papers when they went on vacation and they accumulated in their yard. It "advertised" that they were not home.
