I want it shut down immediately
We can’t walk our daughter to the UCSF Gym anymore or to the MyGym in Potrero Hill
The area has been over run with Homeless People!!!
Regards,
James

As a 30-something, single, about to be married, professional who lives in Potrero Hill and works in the Financial District my Pet Peeve is that this part of the City does not appear to be safe enough for me to feel comfortable raising children in my neighborhood.

The Potrero Hill Housing projects have been a continuous hotbed of violence and crime. Those "barracks were NEVER intended to house families indefinitley. They're decrepit and poorly designed as a community. Many other of the City's low income housing rebuilding projects have been completed and now they're talking about a huge Candlestick housing complex, meaning they STILL aren't addressing the P-hill situation. When you house people like animals they behave like animals. I understand that it requires Federal co-operation, but isn't it about time to get it done?!!!
