Elsewhere in the state, when you put in solar panels and put electricity into the grid, the power company has to pay you for that energy. So you can actually make money. Not the case in SF? Why? If I had this, I could justify the expense and also it would be worth powering my tenant's units as well. Why only San Fran you don't get the credit back?

Hello,
What a great idea, to allow San Franciscans a forum for their ideas in the hopes of improving this great city.
Every morning I pass one of the city water reservoirs on 26th avenue and Ortega Street. It is a massive area covered in asphalt. I wonder if we couldn't benefit by installing solar panels on these large stretches of asphalt? In the interest in reducing CO2 emissions and develop alternative energy solutions.
Best,
Gigi
