Build a regular fence! We have a beautiful ball park that has funky police barricades to protect muni (or is it the Giants fans we’re protecting?). Those barricades have been there for years now - let’s make AT&T pay for a permanent solution if we need one.

I have to agree, the police barricades look rather tacky. I’m not sure they can build a permanent fence there, however, because that would mean cars have 1 less lane to use. I personally have no objections, but I’m sure many drivers would.

I agree. But the permanent solution should be high-design. Perhaps get some students from local design schools to design a permanent solution. NOT some horrible chain link fence or steel jail-bars or anything… and not some “traditional” looking monstrosity like they attempted to do with the bus shelters and signage on market street.
