I Live in North Beach and one of the reasons that there is no parking and there are huge numbers of drunk and rowdy drivers every weekend is that BART doesn’t serve this major urban area by running trains late on the weekends. How they can annoint themselves one of the most efficient transit systems in the country when there is absolutely no service when it’s desperately needed is beyond me. I have travelled on late trains and they are in my experience very full.
