The Bernal Heights Alemany Farmer’s Market should be expanded by prohibiting cars in between the stalls. Instead, more foods and crafts could be offered, with a stage for children’s shows, while their parents shop. Currently, cars run down the middle of the market, congesting and polluting the ambience and present a danger for pedestrians. This is a people’s market and deserves some attention. Could the City please provide some parking nearby, or perhaps a traffic cop or two???
