I’ve been doing a lot of reading re the GG Bridge fencing or lack there of. This has been ongoing since the bridge was built. Unfortunately the choice of materials for the fence-chain link-to prevent suicides-is at worst ineffective & appallingly ugly. Why not present as a public art event, a contest to design a beautiful & effective visually appealing barrier-one that doesn’t seem like a barrier and doesn’t make it look like a makeshift cum permanent eyesore. *Think Gaudi fences in Barcelona instead of fencing in war zones.
