The mayor (and other prominent public officials) should ride a bicycle to work and engagements for several weeks and join the SF cycling community in a critical mass ride — if we are serious about making SF a livable city, public officials should encourage alternative means of transportation and take the time to see the streets from a bicyclist’s perspective.
