I have one and really need it because I am unable to walk very far and carry around an oxygen tank. I always see folks park in the blue zones who certainly don’t look or act like they are disabled. Would be nice to be able to call a special number for a meter maid to check this out. I ended up buying a truck with commercial plates just for the parking.

I agree. A couple of people that I know of, who are not handicapped in any way, have brand new 2007 handicapped parking permits. Where did they get them from? Someone in that department is running a very profitable sideline out of there. I wonder if anyone is even attempting to investigate how those things are getting into circulation. I don’t have a car, and I am not handicapped. But, if I were and I did, I’d be pissed too!
