In response to your letter I would like to submit the following suggestions for improvements to make San Francisco better in the future. First I want to start with the problem the drug addicts and the homeless. According to my knowledge San Francisco have not enough treatment facilities to get people off drugs and for this reason I would suggest that the City of San Francisco and organizations working with this problem already open up an additional two or three treatment centers for people looking for help. The homeless people who are not addicted to drugs and get welfare money for surviving should be have a chance to work for for cleaning the city and other projects and to put half of the welfare money to the homeless shelters for using the shelters. With this system more shelters should be opened to get the homeless off the street and the city would get more funds for this project.
SOMA business association recived 25-30 millions for improving businesses south of market. For me this looks like a scam.I attended a meeting from the business association to make changes of the suppervisors reqest by Chris Daily to change the streets from 5th to 12 th street, Howard and Folsom, two lane out-bound and two lane in-bound street, when this should occur, businesses going out of business, businesses needing delivery or geting deliveries day time and the delivery cars parking in the first lane for making deliveries, your only have one lane each way to pass by, how do you do it? Business going out of business and you have empty buldings for developer companis constructing buildings for the rich. The 25-30 million dollar, have to give to the city for better Polce work and used for getting the projects done in the beginning of my letter, no cut for the city money.
