Why not build "affordable" housing for low-income and working-class people, like me? Modest little condos that don’t cost $1 Million dollars! You tore down all those low-income welfare hotels, and now we have this seemingly endless homeless problem. WHY ?

They tore down all those welfare hotels?
No one told me… I still see hundreds of them throughout the city. If people want to live in San Francisco, they should work hard and get an education.
Assistance to educated people who work hard and put in effort could make sense. People who want to start families and live in the city. But providing “low income” housing is a waste and hurts everyone.
