Central Troubleshooter
Muni Central, needs an executive, with authority and decision making powers to troubleshoot day-to-day problems when buses are missing.
Currently and for decades, when Central confronts a problem it does nothing. If four buses are missing, then they will sit on their butts all day and there won't be any buses for two hours.
Seven N Judah's go inbound and none go outbound. Will they turn one around? Nope.
The customer service reps openly say they're evil. Without a troubleshooter, Muni service will always be terrible.

It is very difficult for the average person to find any information regarding meetings held by departments, committees and commissions. You have to go the city web site, then find the department/commission home page, the agenda/meeting schedule page and then select the date you are interested in. It seems that a majority do not list their schedules and rarely post meeting minutes. Despite the fact that certain committees and commissions are supposed to meet on a schedule, many consistently cancel meetings and do not announce when the next one will be.
Why not have a link on the City's home

The City is doing OK in regards to public property, but the greatest problem lies with private property. The current process is as follows.
A call is received by DPW (now via 311) about the location and description of graffiti on private property.
An SR (Service Request) is generated and the SR number is communicated to the citizen who made the report and the SR is forwarded to DPW.
DPW sends someone out to the property to post an NOV (Notice of Violation) on the premises, a picture is taken of the graffiti and a copy of the NOV is also mailed

I work on 2nd street South of Market. I would like a non-emergeny # to dial to have a team come pick up drunk or disturbing members of our neighborhood. This is a primary route to AT&T park- it is embarassing for all who are visiting SF to have to walk on or over some of our local friends! How about a help line # for a quick pick up or intervention team!
