Traffic Congestion

Better enforcement of "no parking" in Pine Street and Bush Street traffic lanes and ticketing double parkers in neighborhood and Downtown commercial areas. Traffic to and from Downtown from the Western areas of SF can be dramatically improved if double parking during rush hour is eliminated and if people do not park in traffic lanes before the allowed time. For example, on Pine Street outbound, parking is not allowed until 7 pm. People regularly begin parking in the traffic lanes just after 6 pm because they know that the zones are not enforced.
