Would like to mention that the Community Justice Center is very effective but only if there are foot patrolmen to assist these unfortunate people go to the center. I realize that the PBA is very much against "beat police" but it is a proven and effective crime deterrent. We very badly need their presence in the Union Square area. Tourists avoid this area...read what Ichiro Suzuki, the great Japanese baseball player says about downtown San Francisco. Doesn't shop here any more.
I have personally been told by dozens of visitors that they avoid the Union Square area because of its shoddy appearance

Attempting to ban Narconon lectures in public schools was not correct. I'd like to see Narconon reinstated as the premiere drug reform. I know that Criminon has some kind of program currently going on in the San Francisco justice system. I'd like to see it expanded to include with the Mayor's community court program which I think is a step in the right direction. The above are secular organizations and the media will howl about Scientology but so what? I'm a native and want reforms that are proven solutions by statistics, not opinion. Thanks.

I live in Inner Mission at 16th Street and Valencia.
I would love to see a community court in my neighborhood.
We need a change and I am happy that Gavin Newsom always incorporate ideas of change and betterment for the quality of life for San Franciscans.
Thank you.
Joseph

I would like to suggest that you consider expanding the Southern boundary of the proposed new Community Court System beyond Harrison Street and to encompass all streets between Harrison and AT&T Park.
I will list for you the reasons why this new court system should encompass AT&T Park and the surrounding East SoMa neighborhood.
1. We are faced with several law breaking corner liquor stores selling to already inebriated patrons. We have repeatedly relayed our displeasure to them and the consequences to the neighborhood they make their living in, but our complaints fall on deaf ears.
2. The above mentioned inebriates use our

Kudos to your efforts to foster biotech companies in SF and to establish a quality-of-life court.
Here is something SFPD should really do something about. I live at 4th and Harrison right near the City Nights club. I always see police outside of the club on Friday and Saturday nights to keep the peace. But when I'm trying to sleep at 1AM and some clubgoer pulls up to the intersection with a car stereo that shakes my ENTIRE apartment building, that also qualifies as disturbing the peace. Those people should be arrested for such blatant disrespect and prosecuted, maybe in this

I live in Russian Hill, but wind up farther down Polk quite a bit to go out to eat, drink, etc. I love this area and the fact that there seems to be an eclectic mix of people who inhabit it. My issue is that drugs and prostitution seem to be running rampant, and each weekend I see police officers driving by and watching, but doing nothing about it. I assume this is because the arrests take time, and these people just get funneled through a system that is overloaded as it is. Let's all vote to put the Community
