"Dog" parks are actually "people" parks where people recreate and communicate without social division; these inclusive communities enrich our City's spirit and deserve a healthy share of space.
The vast majority of responsible dog people are routinely criticized for the mistakes of a few. I'll keep encouraging dog people to "pick one up for the pack" as well as cleaning up after their own. There's much more human trash out there but good dog people may pick some of that up, too. Every little bit helps.
The City's cleaner than ever and it's getting better all the time -- it's

Train and hire people that are already in the City, and stop trying to see how much the City can pay to those brought in from elsewhere. San Francisco has just as many bright, intelligent, educated people as any other major city. I have said this time and time again; we need to accomodate our own first and maybe people won't have to leave this city.
Give these young people that want to work jobs in City hall and other city servicing areas, where eventually young people can turn their lives around and be the productive citizens that they can be.

Stop all the touchy-feely nonsense, and start enforcing the laws. Put more money into the police force instead of "feel good" programs. Arrest and prosecute criminals, and clean up the streets. For the cost of living in San Francisco, it is outrageous that I have to walk over human feces on my way to work downtown, while trying to avoid psychotic homeless people demanding money.

1) I complain about the rude drivers in the city who run stop signs and don't care if you're in the cross walk or not. I don't know how to fix this except to perhaps have enforcement campaigns work certain areas of the city. I jog through the city streets and every single time I encounter a careless driver who makes me fear for my safety. Also, the heavy traffic is really frustrating, but I don't know what to suggest about that.
2) Parking is obviously a problem in this city, which leads to double parking which is another problem.

There are far too many dogs in this city and they have ruined many aspects of it. It is impossible to walk down the street in most neighborhoods without seeing dog feces, which also dominates our parks, including our natural areas. I run on Bernal Hill every day, and it smells like dog feces on warm and hot days due to the proliferation of dogs on the hill. Hardly a day goes by without my wife and I being disturbed by dogs barking. Dogs have also ruined our natural areas: on Bernal Hill I see them digging into the hill,
