The sleepy southeast quadrant of San Francisco is buzzing with activity  first came the Ballpark, then the new UC Medical Center and all the accompanying activity at Mission Bay and soon, perhaps, a new football stadium and thousands of new homes at Hunters Point. I believe that it would be a good idea to place a "power transfer station" on the Presidio to move future wave or undersea-current electricity generation from the ocean to the City. This would allow San Francisco to pay the Presidio for these services and help our local national park meet its financial obligations as mandated by federal law. Mike McHugh Read This Posty »
