Completely abandon any attempt to create a regional transit center. Ugly concrete and glass will be dark at night and stink of urine. Women won't dare to walk alone in that environment. How about tearing down the current Caltrain station and rebuild the beautiful station that we used to have at 3rd and Townsend. Small shops on the ground floor, a market in front twice a week. The new underground will run right by there anyway. The City will have another mini environment which will create interest for locals and tourists. Ugly, ugly regional center.
