San Francisco is an international cultural destination, providing a rich diversity of artistic and cultural experiences to residents and visitors alike. The San Francisco Arts Commission works to support the arts in our city by maintaining and enhancing the city’s art collection, providing grants and other services to artists and art organizations, promoting art in our schools and arts programs for youths and more. Now the Commission is asking you: what matters most about the arts in San Francisco?
Take the SFAC Survey: Share Your Priorities.
Do you work in the arts? Support the arts? Enjoy the arts in San Francisco?
The San Francisco Arts Commission wants to know what you think are the priorities are for the San Francisco Arts Commission. They are conducting a brief, online survey now through July 5 at: http://tinyurl.com/324bb3.
The survey asks about the challenges facing the arts community and your awareness and perceptions of the SF Arts Commission. Please take a minute and tell SFAC what you think about their programs and share your priorities. Your answers will be kept confidential and only aggregated information will be used.

In Paris, nearly all of the advertisements in the subways are for art galleries and stage plays. In San Francisco, they are for cell phones and “La Bronca Es Raza!”. Wow. $15 million in revenue for a crappy transportation system. Why is the government becoming an ad agency? How about firing some bureaucrats to maintain the budget and leave the ad space to promote public art?
