ActLocallySF Gavin Newsom San Francisco WiFiLast month we launched our volunteer drive to gather signatures to put Mayor Newsom back on the ballot. We are making great progress but with the filing deadline on July 26 fast approaching we need your help.

Please join Mayor Gavin Newsom as well as representatives from labor, local political clubs and enthusiastic supporters like yourself at our campaign HQ this Saturday, July 21st at 10:30AM. We will be hitting the streets of San Francisco with the Mayor, collecting signatures and talking to other San Franciscans. (If you can’t make on Saturday you can download the signature forms at anytime. Just click on Aaron’s blog and follow the instructions).

Your signature and those of your friends and family will put our campaign in a strong position as Election Day nears.

Your signature is a mark of support for our efforts to make free WiFi a reality, improve MUNI, create a Community Justice Center and more – including passing a budget that prioritizes the basics of daily life like filling potholes, cleaning up our parks and policing our streets.

Your signature is a clear statement that we won’t stop until we’ve finished the job we started.

Here are the details for this weekend:

WHEN: Saturday, July 21st

WHAT: 10:30 AM  Rally

11:00 AM  Dispatch to locations all over San Francisco

3:00 PM  Drop off signatures to Mayor Gavin Newsom at the Campaign HQ (lunch will be served)

WHERE: Newsom for Mayor Headquarters, 1320 Sutter St. (Sutter at Van Ness)

RSVP: (415) 351-0359 (ask for Aaron) or aaron.goldsmith@actlocallysf.org.

We will also be collecting signatures on Sunday, July 22nd. We are kicking things off at noon on Sunday at the campaign headquarters.

Finally, if you cannot volunteer but still want to support the Mayor, come by the HQ to sign our signature sheet in person. We want to get as many supporters as we can down on paper.

If you have questions, you can call Aaron Goldsmith at (415) 351-0359.

PS – Signatures are due back to the campaign by July 24. You must be a registered San Francisco voter to circulate the form and only registered San Francisco voters may sign it. You can drop them in the mail or return them to the campaign HQ in person at 1320 Sutter St. at Van Ness.
