It is time to stand up for the City of San Francisco and against short-sighted politics. Supervisor Chris Daly is attempting to cut critical city services from the mayor's budget in order to fund his own political backers. Daly has introduced a motion that would eliminate key city programs without going through the normal budget process. Please join us tomorrow for a rally on the steps of City Hall at 12PM, on the Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place side to show your opposition to Supervisor Daly's plan. |

Mayor Newsom wants to bring a community court to Union Square to address quality of life concerns, like aggressive panhandling, public urination, and graffiti. The new court will be modeled after Manhattan's highly successful Midtown Community Court, which helped revitalize Times Square in the early 90s. But, we need your support. As Mayor Newsom said in the San Francisco Chronicle on Sunday, "We're fighting against the status quo, and they're fighting for the status quo," he said of his opponents.
